Benbulben Sunset Hike!
Join us as we hike to the top of Sligo's iconic table top mountain, Benbulben. Explore some of the amazing sites and features of this mountain before we settle down, wrap up and watch the sun setting across the Atlantic. We will make the most of the last light coming down from the mountain and finishing the last leg with the headlamps on!
This is a moderate level hike of 11km lasting approx 4 hours.
Reasonable fitness, headlamps, hiking clothing and footwear required.
Meet 5pm at Luke's Bridge, approx 4 hour hike
Hiking boots,
Suitable hiking clothing (no jeans or runners),
Waterproofs,
Warm layers hat and gloves,
Drink, snacks and rucksack/bag,
Headlamp,
Walking poles (optional but recommended)
Fully qualified and insured Mountain leader led hike, Rec3 first aid qualified, craic and laughs guaranteed - views not guaranteed!
