Nephin Hike - Private
Take on one of Ireland’s most iconic peaks — Mayo’s mighty Nephin, the highest standalone mountain in the country.
Standing proudly above the surrounding landscape, Nephin dominates the skyline across Mayo and the Northwest, offering a true sense of wilderness and mountain adventure.
Our standard route follows a scenic loop via the northern corrie, ascending the western spur before reaching the 806m summit, where you’ll be rewarded with incredible 360° views stretching across Mayo, Connacht and beyond. We descend via the eastern spur, completing a varied and rewarding mountain journey.
Several alternative route options are also available depending on experience levels, group goals, or weather conditions, so feel free to get in touch to discuss the best option for your group.
This is a moderate-level hike covering approximately 8km and lasting around 4.5 hours.
A reasonable level of fitness and some previous hiking experience are recommended.
This is a private hike option for up to 6 people, additional particiapants can be added.
