Mweelrea Hike - Sauna - Coffee (x Melody's & Tine Sauna)
Summit Mayo's highest peak, followed by the perfect recovery sinking into a toasty sauna just down the road on cross beach!
Join Tonnta Adventure, Tine Sauna, and Melody's Mayo for the ultimate winter adventure - hike Mweelrea, then recover with sauna, dips, coffee, and delicious treats.

Connaghts highest and one of the iconic 4 peaks Mweelrea stands at 814m.
This route takes us from the beautiful beach at Silver Strand up to the saddle with Ben Bury where the amazing views of Mweelrea Horseshoe, Kilary and the Atlantic open up 360 views open up of the Sheefrys, 12 Bens and out to the Atlantic.
This is a moderate hike so reasonable level of fitness and some hiking experience needed.
Distance: 11km. Duration approx 4.5 hours
Coming off the mountain we will head straight for Tine Sauna where it will be warmed up and waiting to sooth away any aches from the hike.
To wrap up we will warm up with some amzing coffees and treats from Melodys coffee truck.
This is going to be a really special day - the perfect new years reset.
Group size will be small to enable the best experience.
Hiking boots,
Suitable hiking clothing (no jeans or runners),
Waterproofs,
Warm layers hat and gloves,
Drink, snacks and rucksack/bag,
Walking poles (optional but recommended)
Swimwear and towel for sauna.
